Weather Week Academy: Northeast Surfing will surf in the rain, while in the ocean you won’t even feel the rain. What we don’t like is strong winds or storms (thunder, etc) We will hold the day academy no matter what the weather is like. We always meet at the beach where our tent is located all summer. We have an extremely weather proof tent with sides for real bad weather. This shelter is storm safe and provides a dry warm place to take cover. Some families depend on us taking their children so we can not close the Academy for the day. There are also NO REFUNDS because of bad weather.
Important: Other plans are in place to accommodate any weather situations. No refunds are given based on any bad weather or no waves conditions. The payment you made is based on four days. We normally charge $60.00 an hour for a surf lesson. This is the going rate based on all our training and Accreditations. When you book more you save more. A three hour session is $80.00, The first day of camp is $80.00, second day $70.00, third day $65.00, the forth is $60.00, the fifth is free.
